Dr. Peter Zeegen
Dr. Zeegen believes that procedures such as PRK and LASIK are setting the course for a day when nobody will have to wear glasses or contacts in order to see clearly.
Dr. Zeegen graduated with honors from UCLA School of Medicine, completed his residency training at the Jules Stein Eye Institute and started his practice in Encino in 1974.
Dr. Zeegen shares the knowledge he has gained with his colleagues as Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the renowned Jules Stein Eye Institute. He has been Chief of Ophthalmology at Encino-Tarzana Medical Center, and in addition has been an active member of the Admissions Committee of the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Zeegen was awarded the Jules Stein Eye Institute Senior Honor Award in recognition of almost 30 years of teaching resident doctors.
His preeminence in ophthalmology is recognized by his position as Chief of Ophthalmology at the Encino-Tarzana Medical Center.
